North Perrott is a small picturesque rural village on the Somerset/Dorset border. The village has great amenities such as The Farm Shop (www.npff.co.uk) providing a large range of local produce such as local eggs, bacon and mushrooms for breakfast, scrumpy cider, village cheese, bread for your scrummy Somerset Ploughman’s Lunch or freshly baked scones and cakes to make a wonderful Somerset cream tea, or if you prefer you can enjoy all these local products and eat in the café.
A short walk and you will come across North Perrott Cricket Club, perfect to relax and watch top class sport whilst enjoying a picnic and a glass of your favourite (www.npcc.co.uk).
Further afield you may wish to visit West Bay home of the ‘Broadchurch’ series to enjoy the beach, walk to Golden Gap along the Jurassic Coast or some great fish and chips from the many kiosks alongside the harbour (www.westbay.co.uk). Ham Hill in Yeovil is a superb spot for a walk followed by refreshment in the pub (www.princeofwaleshamhill.co.uk) or visit one of the many National Trust properties close by (www.nationaltrust.org.uk)
