Peaceful Coarse Fishing
This small lodge lake is a great place to enjoy coarse fishing, with large lily beds and reed beds. The Watermeadows Day Lake currently holds 200 carp ranging from 2lb to 15lb.
We have invested heavily in stocking, with these fish introduced in January 2026, and we have also invested in their feeding programme to ensure the carp receive the best quality bait available.
To protect the future of the fish and ensure great sport for anglers, we have a few rules in place.
Booking & Tickets
- Day Ticket: £10 (Dawn – Dusk)
- Week Ticket: £50 (No night fishing)
We accept card payments.
All card payments carry a £1 surcharge. If you wish to fish the lake, you must have a valid ticket. Please contact Gary to book before fishing.

Bait & Tackle
This is a frozen boilie and house pellet water only.
The fish are fed regularly on these baits, so they are very used to eating them.
Bait Prices
- Parker Baits Boilies – £10 per kg
- House Pellets – £12 per 4kg bag
- Carp Care – £10
All other baits are banned. Do not bring or use any other bait unless it is purchased on-site.
Bait can be purchased on-site from Gary.
Fishing Rules
- Barbless hooks only
- Maximum 2 rods
- Do not leave rods unattended at any time
- You must have adequate equipment to fish the lake
- You must bring your own landing net and unhooking mat
- You must have carp care to treat any wounds
Fish Safety & Wildlife
If you require any help or get into difficulty with a carp getting snagged, do not pull for a break. Please call Gary and he will come and help you land the fish safely.
If you lose any line, please let us know so we can do our best to remove it. This helps prevent wildlife from getting into difficulty with discarded fishing line.
Please respect our rules. Failure to follow them will result in you being asked to leave the lake and may prevent you from fishing here again.
